An initiative by the Research Science Institute launched in 2006 with a clear goal to: encourage student creativity, increase artistic awareness in schools and enable talented students to communicate through the field of Art.
RSI ART AWARD provides students from around the world the opportunity to draw on excellent subject knowledge and skills. It is a platform to showcase and share their artistic talents with their peers globally.
For schools, it is an opportunity to showcase the impact of high-quality art education in their country.
COMPETITIONS AND DISCIPLINES
Three competitions to reach young artists around the world. Each competition allows them to express their creativity across 3 disciplines of drawing and painting, photography, and digital art. The main goal is to: encourage student creativity, increase artistic awareness in schools and enable talented students to communicate through the field of Art.
RSI GLOBAL ART COMPETITION
RSI ART AWARD launched in 2021 is a new global initiative with a mission to inspire young artists from around the world to express their creative talents across 3 disciplines of drawing and painting, photography, and digital art.
SRS-BSME ART COMPETITION
Submissions (Paintings/Drawings) can be in any medium including crayons, watercolours, pencil or acrylic, mixed media etc… Students should produce their own artwork based on the given theme.
The theme of this year is “Artificial Intelligence” .

School of Research Science in partnership with BSME (British Schools in the Middle East) has concluded the 2022 – 2023 MENA region art competition for the fourth year in a row with great success.
DUBAI FAIR OFFERS FIRST TEST OF COVID-ERA ART MARKET
Art Dubai is the first major test for art fairs in the Covid era. The fair expects up to 20,000 people to attend. Above, Samia Halaby’s ‘Simultaneous Depth’ was displayed at the fair in 2019.
