RULES FOR DIGITAL ART:

◆ All artworks should be original and created by students.

◆ The artwork should be in JPG format, 300 dpi, highest compression quality of 12.

◆ The artwork should be at least 2480px on the longest edge and not exceed 10MB.

◆ Artwork should not contain any frame, mat, or watermark.

◆ The artwork should be clear and in focus.

◆ You can use any app (Adobe Fresco, Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Artrage, etc…

◆ Artificial Intelligence (AI) images/artworks are not accepted.

PEOPLE OF DETERMINATION APPLICATION FORM

To verify that this work was conducted and completed by the students themselves teachers should submit six (6) photographs of the progress of their work at different stages of progression.

• Phase 1: at the beginning, showing evidence of initial concept

• Phase 2: in the middle, showing clear progression in the development of the idea

• Phase 3: at the end, showing evidence of the completed project, ready for final submission

Teachers should submit the evidence along with the final outcome, by filing the artwork submission form.

PROCEDURES TO BE FOLLOWED BY:

ALL schools participating in the RSI ART AWARD 2025 – 2026

◆ RSI Art Award to be held in each school, in appropriate premises, with full provision of necessary materials requested by students.

◆ Competition is a maximum of 2 hours.

◆ Schools must provide photographic and or video evidence supported by documentation signed by head teachers and stamped to ensure the integrity of the competition.

COMPETITION GOALS:

◆ To encourage student creativity.

◆ To increase artistic awarness in schools.

◆ To enable talented students to communicate through the field of Art.

AGE GROUPS:

◆ 9 – 11

◆ 12 – 14

◆15 – 16

◆17 – 18

Each school will submit 3 art pieces per Age Group.
Totalling to a maximum of 12 final pieces per school.

DRAWING & PAINTING

RULES FOR DRAWING & PAINTING:

◆ Submissions (Paintings/Drawings) can be in any medium including crayons, watercolors or pastels.

◆ Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our rules have changed temporarily.

◆ Students should produce their own artwork based on the given theme. For this year the theme is ‘Cultural Fusion

◆ All paintings/drawings should be clearly marked with student’s full name, age, class, city, country and nationality

◆ RSI Global Art Competition will take place at all schools (Public and Private).

◆ Completed registration forms are required for all final entries.
